Check the tightness in water

Check the tightness of the equipment in the water before diving. This can be checked by your buddy, diving supervisor and the diver himself.

Tip: If leakage occurs at the interface between the mask and hood, check that the face seal of the dry suit has the right design and material to suit diving with a full face mask.

Note: WARNING!If the diver does not eradicate the leakage, there is a risk of leakage of water into the circuit. This could result in:

Note: a “caustic cocktail” which is a mixture of lime and water that is very alkaline reaching the diver's mouth and respiratory tract.
