The buoyancy compensator has built-in buoyancy of 180 N in the bladder. The bladder is fitted with two drain and overpressure valves and an inflator hose. The bladder is filled during diving with the inflator connected to the buoyancy gas cylinder. The bladder is attached to the buoyancy compensator with two bracket straps, allowing the bladder to be easily removed and replaced if necessary. The buoyancy of the bladder more than compensates for the loss of buoyancy when submerging the full IS-MIX.
