The diver can use the inflator's filling and emptying function to check his buoyancy in the water. Pressing the inflator button (2) fills the bladder and the diver gets improved buoyancy. Pressing the drain button (5) empties the bladder and the diver gets reduced buoyancy.

The bladder is supplied with gas from the buoyancy gas cylinder via the inflator's quick coupling (6) where the buoyancy gas hose is connected.
