Pressure gauge with relief valve (1) and DPX quick coupling (2).

Pressure in the gas cylinder can be read from the pressure gauge. The pressure gauge is connected to the gas cylinder via the pressure gauge hose. The gas pressure in the pressure gauge actuates a bourdon tube (tubular spring) which in turn actuates the pointer.

The safety valve (rubber plug) on the back of the pressure gauge opens if the pressure in the pressure gauge housing gets too high. The rubber guard protects the pressure gauge from impacts and fouling.

The pressure gauge manifold is fitted with a non-return valve to prevent that high pressure gas leaks out from the manifold, it is also fitted with a relief valve if the non-return valve fails, that opens at circa 20 bar, The quick coupling on the manifold allows connection of DPX surface gas supply.
