The bellows act as a counter volume in relation to the lungs in the total breathing circuit. The bellows have a volume of 4.5 litres which allows the user to take large enough breaths even where a lot of effort is required.

The bellows are made of reinforced rubber with excellent wear resistance

The bellows are attached between the chassis and bellows plate. The bellows plate is in turn secured to the arms of the bellows.
