Mount the IS-MIX on diver
- Let the diver lean slightly forwards.
- Hang the IS-MIX with the two hooks on the backplate's corresponding brackets.Tip: First, place the hooks on the backplate and then slide upwards to avoid the bladder or hoses being pinched.
- Let the dead weight of the IS-MIX lock the quick coupling. A clicking sound is usually heard.
- Check the locking device, that the IS-MIX is secured to the backplate by pulling it gently.
- Loosen the cover straps and open the cover. Let the cover hang in its lower brackets while the stowed mask with associated hose and pressure gauge are unpacked.
- Thread the mask over the diver's head.Tip: The diver protects his face and head from a dropped mask by holding his right hand on his head and holding the mask with his left hand.
- Attach the pressure gauge and buoyancy compensator's left shoulder strap
- Let the mask hang over the chest until the diver is completely ready for diving.Tip: When it is raining (water splashes) the mask can be folded up to ensure the visor is facing upwards.
