Procedures as per Sections A and B. In addition the following procedures must be observed.

Repeated diving must be done within 30 minutes. The absorbent then needs to be replaced in accordance with field preparation.

If possible, store the IS-MIX in a heated space between repeated dives.

Check that the controls can be operated before the dive. Thaw with hot water if required. Repeat checks of the controls following a descent into the water.

If the absorbent does not need replacing, the IS-MIX can be submerged (except the mask) between the dives. This avoids ice formation occurring in contact with the air.

If the absorbent has not been replaced, breathe in the IS-MIX for about three minutes on land so that the absorbent “starts” prior to the dive commencing.
