A – Procedures for dry and heated apparatus

  1. Check continuously that the reserve gas valve is not frozen solid during the dive.
  2. Carry out and abort the dive so that maximum safety is achieved without an active warning for low gas level. This is done, for example, by aborting the dive well before the reserve valve closes.
  3. Dives requiring deco-time should be avoided.
  4. The by-pass function is monitored regularly during the dive.
