The switch over valve on the full face mask enables quick access to the redundant open bail-out breathing system, which is attached to the right side of the head harness.

The bail-out breathing system is attached tot the head harness right side and includes a 1litre bail-out gas cylinder that gives the diver extended time for aborting a dive.
