The DPX switch valve (4) is used to switch from deep gas to deco gas. The pressure gauge (3) monitors the high pressure in the gas cylinders. The whistle (1) gives warning when gas supply pressure goes below 55 bar. The DPX diving hose is connected to the gas outlet (5) and the pressure release valve (10) releases the over pressure and empty diving hose before DECO gas can enter (not showing). The open tag (7) is used to indicate which gas cylinder is used at the moment. Before diving and before changing to a different gas between dive and after diving, the pressure in the DPX diving hose is relived using The vent handle (8) is used to flush the diving hose with the selected gas before diving, depressurize the diving hose after use and to flush the diving hose when changing to a different gas type between dives. After diving the dust plug protects the gas outlet. The adjustment screw (2) is only used for maintenance.
