Gas hoses

Gas hoses

All gas hoses are made of a synthetic rubber mix. All hoses consists of an inner hose that directs the breathing gas, with an outer reinforcement of artificial fibres (a pressurised winding). The inner hose and reinforcement are protected by a rubber cap. Hose connections are secured with clamping sleeves of stainless steel.

All hoses have quick couplings with non-return valve at the other end which enables under water operation. The DPX hose have an enlarged grip ring for easy attachment under water. When not used the DPX hose is parked in the pressure gauge manifold DPX quick coupling during diving. The DPX hose male coupling is also equipped with an by-pass valve that provides a small pressure to the DPX quick coupling, when connected, to prevent that water leaks into the pressure gauge manifold.

The bail-out breathing hose connects to the bail-out breathing valve with a threaded connection.

Note: NOTE:A break in the gas hoses of the bail-out regulator will cause a major loss of gas.
