MOD: Maximum Operating Depth, is the designation for the maximum permitted diving depth with respect to the partial pressure of oxygen (ppO2).

EAD: Equivalent Air Depth, is the designation for the equivalent diving depth with the same partial pressure of nitrogen (ppN2).

EAN: Enriched Air Nitrox, designation for a mix with a oxygen content higher than air.
