The IS-MIX has been ergonomically designed, taking into account the conditions applicable to the working diver. The IS-MIX can be removed from the diver's buoyancy compensator to reduce the load when handling. A diving supervisor must wait at the dive site to fit the IS-MIX until just before the diver enters the water. After diving the diver's ascent is facilitated by the diving supervisor dismantling the IS-MIX while the diver is still in the water.
