Replacing the valve disc in the inflator hose
- Unscrew the inflator hose from the jacket.
- Unscrew the pressure relief cover.
The pressure relief cover is unscrewed.
- Remove and discard the red valve disc (51 037-951) located on the pressure relief disc.
Valve disc.
- Clean the valve housing and inflator hose outlet.
- Fit a new valve disc and check that it is resting against the pressure relief disc.
- Place the pressure relief disc on the inflator hose's threaded outlet with the red sealing disc facing down.
The pressure relief disc is fitted with the red valve disc facing down.
- Centre the torsion spring over the pressure relief disc and screw on the pressure relief cover.
