Dosage

  1. Let the breathing circuit remain open.
  2. Grip with two fingers on the right hand bellows arm and brace your hand on the apparatus's chassis.
  3. Move the bellows arm to “0” position and let the arm swing up and down past “0” and then hold it in place exactly in “0” position.
  4. Read the pressure for “0” position with rounding to one decimal place.
  5. Consult the table below and select the column corresponding to read dosage pressure for “0” position.
  6. Move the bellows arm to “2” and read the pressure. Verify that the reading is within the accepted range in the selected column.
